in Blue" Statue This ceramic statue of Mary is hand finished in blue, the traditional Marian color. The simple design and face without features are a conscious effort by the artist to draw one more deeply into the simplicity and holiness of the holy Mother. The rosary in the Blessed Mother's grasp, is a reminder of her request at Lourdes and Fatima to "pray the rosary".
