On August 21, 1879 in Knock, a
quaint little village of County Mayo in the west of Ireland, Our
Lady appeared under the gable of the tiny village church. With her
were St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist, and to the side, an
altar with a large cross on which stood a sacrificial lamb, which
symbolized Jesus. Our Lady stood looking up to heaven with hands
raised in prayer. She never spoke a word, but her posture spoke
volumes. Today, over a million people visit Our Lady's shrine each
year to honor Mary's silent request: PRAY!
Gift is packaged in a delicate nylon net bag for presentation
and storage. Includes beautiful flowers and a shamrock or two.
