Large San Damiano Cross

Crucifix measures 17" x 12-1/2" x 1" thick. This is a replication of the famous icon cross before which St. Francis of Assisi was praying when he had an experience of Christ telling him to "rebuild my Church". The original hangs in Santa Chiara Church in Assissi. A booklet explaining the history and symbolism of this very special icon cross is included.
