Early Good Shepherd Statue This beautifull statue is an interpretation of one of the oldest known representations of the Good Shepherd. The 3rd century statue from which it was modeled is from the Catacomb of Domitilla in Rome. That statue now resides in Musio Pio Cristino, Vatican. The staue shown here measures approximately 10" tall including the wood base. It is made of superior quality, hand painted alabaster.
