Celtic Trinity Carolingian These silver tone earrings with antique finish are from the Vatican Library Collection. They are an interpretation of a traditional celtic design with four intertwined Trinity knots (triquetra), each a reminder of the Blessed Trinity. The term "Carolingian" originated with the Carolingian Dynasty of France. Each cross measures approximately 3/4" tall x 3/4" wide. Earrings with posts are designed for use with pierced ears.
