Divine
Mercy Icon
This icon of the Divine Mercy was written by Brother
Pachomius Meade, O.S.B. It is an interpretation of "Jesus,
the Divine Mercy" as He appeared to Saint Faustina Kowalska
in 1931.
Jesus appears Risen in white robes with pale rays
flowing from His heart: red, indicating His Blood shed on Golgatha
and the Mystery of Holy Eucharist; and white or light rays indicating
Baptism and the Gift of the Holy Spirit. The inscription reads
"Jesus, I Trust In You". They are a reminder that His
forgiveness is ready for all who call on Him.
Wood icon is available in two sizes: 10" x
16" and 4" x 6". Both have a t-slot for hanging.
These can be ordered below. A wood
display stand is available separately for the 4" x 6"
icon.
